Review of National Qualifications

Three industry groups have reviewed the existing retail meat qualifications from both meat butchery and meat retail perspectives but before they go to NZQA for registration there is one important question to be answered… 

What do you think of it?

We would like you to take five minutes to let us know what you think of what has been reviewed and developed.  Firstly look at what has been produced and then tell us what you think the simplest way while you are at the site is by completing the one minute feedback form but you’ll see there are other options.

There is quite a bit of information so it has been split into three parts:

  • The Overview page shows the content, structure and requirements of the qualifications
  • The Details page shows the requirements behind each of the boxes in the overview document.
  • The Feedback page includes three ways you can provide your feedback on the qualifications or any of the component unit standards.

What we would like you to look at?

1. The qualification overview.

The Qualification overview page. This shows in a simple diagram. The relationship between meat retail and meat butchery qualifications and connecting qualifications within a sector.  It also has the structure and content of each qualification in detail.

2. The component unit standards

The Qualifications detail page. The unit standard documents have an introductory page followed by the registered text, the information for candidates and the judgment statements for assessors.

4.  Then fill in the one minute feedback form telling us what you think.
