Gateway Programmes
The Retail Meat ITO able to offer the topics 2, 4, 5 or 8 from the first Module (year) of training to students who are interested in a retail meat industry Gateway programme.
The topics and their units are:
a. Topic 2: Food Safety

b. Topic 4: Knife Handling
i. US 2503 L3 C3
ii. US 17024 L2 C2
c. Topic 5: Wrapping and Labelling
i. US 6997 L3 C16
d. Topic 8: Meat Cuts
i. US 26263 L1 C4
To sign up a student just let me know the topic(s) they wish to undertake along with their full name, DOB, the school contact details as well as the industry employer details where the Gateway training will be taking place.
Once I have these details I will send out the required learning and assessment booklets for the student to complete. Upon completion of the assessment workbook(s) you can contact RMITO and we will organise marking and/or a workplace visit from one of our Training Advisor's.
Cost
We will provide up to the first 24 credits worth of assessment free of charge and subsequent credits will be charged at $15/credit.
