How do I register an employee to become a trainee?


You can download the training agreement for the training programme you want for your trainee below:
  • Click here for the National Certificate in Meat Retail Butchery (Advanced) Level 4, 240 credits (around 3 years of training)
  • Click here for the National Certificate in Meat Retail Butchery (Advanced) Level 4 with strand in Curing, Smoking and Smallgoods Manufacture 284 credits (around 3 & 1/2 years of training)
  • Click here for the National Certificate in Meat Retail Butchery (Introductory) Level 2, 76 credits (around 1 year of training)

Or you can call RMITO on 0800 88 00 99 and we will post you the Training Agreement for the programme you want for your employee.

After receiving the Training Agreement RMITO will:
  • Register the trainee in the RMITO’s Training Management System
  • Send Module 1 Training Resources to the trainee with the first year’s learning and assessment materials
  • Send a Training Plan to the employer, that will guide them through the on-job training
  • Allocate a Training Advisor to your trainee Organise off-job courses and on-job assessments for your trainee
  • Regularly report to you on your trainee’s progress and achievements
